MDBio, Inc. was established in Taiwan in 1996, and was formally registered in Qingdao, China, in 2002. It is a private owned Taiwan enterprise. MDBio, Inc. imports raw materials to process products. The main purposes of MDBio, Inc. are to research, develop, distribute and importing molecular biology reagents.
In 2002, Qingdao MDBio, Inc. was set up in a small business incubation center building in Laoshan District in Qingdao, China. In the beginning, it had only three small offices and 11 employees. The company had QC departments to do quality control of different batch raw materials in order to make sure the stability of products. At first, our company concentrated upon oligo synthesis service, enzymes, nucleic acids, antibiotics, culture medias and biobuffers. Our distributors include Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Xiamen.
In 2009, Qingdao MDBio, Inc. was moved to bio-pharmaceutical industrial area, rented offices(600 m2) and had 20 employees. Our company set up a central laboratory, clean production area and a freezing/refrigerating storage room and dry room, to make sure all the raw materials and products were well preserved and organized. Furthermore, various convenient product line were launehed to market such as LB Broth easy pack, PCR MasterMix, Ready to use LB Agar, Liquid Acrylamide, prestained DNA Ladder Marker, etc.
In 2010, MDBio, Inc had collaborations with American and other areas companies so that we set up a factory of steriled plasticware in Taichang, Suzhou. We were devoted to develop precise molds, injection, OEM production, and so on. We have succeeded in producing steriled plasticware products, such as 0.5mL, 1.5mL, 2.0mL microtubes, 10uL, 200uL microtips, 0.5mL, 1.5mL sample tubes, thin walled PCR tubes/8, 12 stripes, tip box, tube rack and various powder/liquid bottles. In conclusion, we have invest and develop more than 50 plasticware products.
